Everyday views of the town that catch the eye and are gone forever

These are personal works, from simple, unassuming street views. Views where the light at a particular time of day adds that extra element to create a composition that catches my eye. There is something I find captivating and yet tantalisingly elusive about this evocative light. Whether it's the first rays of early morning with steamy breath, the crispness of a low winter sun accompanied by that unmistakable smell of fresh rainfall, or that fleeting period of golden light when it feels like California - just before the sun dips over the horizon.
