Less is more

What I find interesting about the watercolours below, is that I'm setting out each time to paint a very different style to these, but they just keep coming out this way. I've heard super talented watercolour painters talking about the work "painting itself", and the bits I like in my own paintings are mainly the bit's that are starting to do just that. The bits were you almost stop thinking and let the pigment slosh about on its own.
